Facilitator and Cocreation Strategist
Civic and Social Organization | Adelaide, Australia, AU
I studied maths and literature once upon a time, I've worked in government, and while this was valuable and rewarding, I eventually needed to move on to find a better way to contribute. I moved on to facilitate community projects and help launch social startups - and out of all this experience I am synthesising a new role.
These days I do cocreation.
Our world is already inherently cocreated... but we need to work better together to do it well.
Our challenges demand new methods of cocreation that reflect this realisation. They are based on principles of collective empowerment and systemic, holistic perspectives of change.
I provide strategic support and facilitation of cocreative processes. I help people to realise the visions they care about by embracing cocreation - taking an approach that responds to the context for their work, and empowers them to work together in a way that has a lasting impact.
Deceptively simple on the outside, my work often challenges traditional models and perspectives, and is built on the diversity of my experience. Projects often cross industry divides - between community and stakeholder engagement, community development, and collaboration internally or in a radically open way. I also cross different mediums - from face to face workshops, to mass online collaboration.

I moved from Sydney to Victoria to complete the state public service graduate program at the start of 2010, with a substantive position in performance analysis at the audit office. I left that position in 2012 and moved to Adelaide where I see the opportunity to do great work and contribute to the local ecosystem - and a step towards a more global perspective.
